Reflex control

Fig.C104
Reflex Pendulum Control.
This part is the Stator, mounted in the case of the Slave-Transmitter: the saw is lifted each half minute since the Stator is connected in the current circuit of the Master-Transmitter. The pendulum of the Slave-Transmitter, controlled by the Reflex, is set to go slow, (ca. 2-3 minutes in 24 hours) but is corrected every 30 seconds by the Reflex system in a way that both pendulums are kept in swing and at exactly the same time.

Fig.C104 Reflex Pendulum Control.
The Vibrator is mounted on the pendulum of the Slave-Transmitter, at 2/3 from the top.
The lower end of the phosphor bronze spring is cushioned to the teeth of the Stator’s saw when the Stator is activated ( = lifted) by the Master-Transmitter circuit, every 30 seconds. The swing of the pendulum is shortened, thus the pendulum is hastened up and the Slave-Transmitter held to time exactly with the Master-Transmitter.
