 Impulse contact makers, or Programmers could be included in the Pulsynetic System, operated by the Time transmitter in the usual manner.
Bells, hooters or sirens distributed throughout a building are thus automatically operated to a pre-arranged programme.

By using pins, set into the big wheel, contacts could be made with a minimal interval of 5 minutes.

In the non adjustable contactmakers one or more notches were cut into a disc at The Works. The programme of times was therefore to be stated when ordering. c 1940.
